This piece is inspired by Camille Pissarro's painting "Summer Landscape, Eragny, 1887 & 1902". Pissarro is the "Father of Impressionism". He used colors to show the flow of lights and shadows as well as natural scenes in the sunshine and air. In this Franz piece, the objects in the painting become 3-D sculpture and scatter evenly with 360 degrees on the vase. The sky scene in the painting decorates the mouth of the vase, and the trees extend to the wide sky. If one just looks at the vase from the front or back, it is like looking at a painting. One can follow the steps of cattle and wander around in the peaceful countryside.
